Perhaps you think that it does not affect your charity, but if one your fundraisers or solicitors is not registered in a state in which they
raise or solicit funds on your behalf, then both they and your organization are not in compliance with the law. It is thus important to insure that your fundraiser or solicitor is registered or becomes registered quickly.
You can check if your fundraiser or solicitor is registered in West Virginia at http://www.wvsos.com/cslist/index.aspx. Chances are if your fundraiser or solicitor is not registered in West Virginia, they are probably not registered in other states either.
