New Hampshire law requires that charitable organizations and institutions that solicit contributions in or from this state register with the Office of the Attorney General. The New Hampshire law governing charity registration is found in RSA Ch. 292.

To register in New Hampshire:

Complete the Initial Registration Form NHCT-1 and mail to:

      Office of the Attorney General
      Charitable Trusts Unit
      33 Capitol Street
      Concord, NH 03301

Initial Filing Fee: $25

Requirements: Governing Documents and IRS Form 990

Annual Renewal: Yes

Annual Renewal Fee: $75

Extension Available: Yes

Does charitable registration require Corporate Registration: No

Does charitable registration require a Registered Agent: No

New Hampshire offers Educational and Religious Exemptions.
